Come to our party to celebrate the public unveiling of the new 2010 Loveland Artsource! We're hosting a party/networking event on Thursday August 19th from 5:30-7:00 at Independence Gallery/Art of the Rockies at 440 N. Lincoln Avenue, diagonally across from the Loveland Museum Gallery. Pick up a free copy of the guide, hear downtown updates and network with downtown supporters and the arts community! There is a nominal fee for the networking event, and refreshments and beverages will be served.
The only guide to the visual and performing arts in Loveland, this twenty-eight-page booklet includes many local artists and art galleries, theater and music groups, nonprofit groups, articles about Loveland’s sculpture shows, art offerings and sculpture parks, as well as information about historic downtown Loveland, lodging, and tourism. Published by the Downtown Loveland Association, the creation and promotion of the arts guide is one of the five strategic initiatives of our organization, which is dedicated to “revitalizing the heart of Loveland.”
10,000 copies were printed and are being distributed through all ten of the Colorado Welcome Centers throughout the state. The Loveland Artsource is a valuable marketing piece to promote Loveland as an arts destination and as an arts community. Initially created in 2009, the guide's purpose is to market Loveland, Colorado as one of the top arts towns in America. According to John Villani’s book, The 100 Best Art Towns in America, Loveland is one of the best small towns for the arts, second only to Santa Fe, New Mexico! In fact, a visit to Loveland's sculpture shows inspired his book.
Local Loveland companies were tapped to produce the glossy, full color 2010 Loveland Artsource. It was designed and edited by Full Circle Marketing & Design and printed by Light-Speed Color. The arts guide is available at the Downtown Loveland Association office at 231 W. Fourth Street, at the Loveland Museum Gallery, Rialto Theater, art galleries and advertiser locations. Many thanks to our major advertisers, who included the City of Loveland, McWhinney, The Master’s Fine Art of Loveland and the Embassy Suites Hotel, Spa and Conference Center.
Advertising in the 2010 guide started at only $150 for an Artist's Profile size. If you're interested in advertising in the 2011 guide, let us know and we'll contact you later as soon as pricing and contracts are ready.
