No hard hats required - wear your Santa hat instead! Despite construction starting, the Loveland Library is hosting Loveland Lights - the 6th Annual Celebration of Winter Holiday Traditions.
The event will be held on Saturday December 4th from 9:00 -5:00 only - no Sunday hours this year.
As mentioned in the Friends of the Loveland Library newsletter:
"Children will be able to make gingerbread houses (9:30 and 11:00 a.m.) and hunt throughout the library for gingerbread men. The afternoon will feature Holiday Party Food Demos, a "how-to" for adults to help them create unique foods for that annual holiday party...There will be an afternoon music or dance performance. Decorated holiday trees and displays will adorn the library, and holiday books, bookmarks and baked goods will be available for sale."
Check with the library in mid-November for a schedule of events. Volunteers are also needed for this fun event! Contact Betty Hill at 970-622-0931 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for information or to volunteer.
P.S. The Friends of the Loveland Public Library are long-time members and supporters of the DLA. Please show your support for their holiday event by bringing your friends and family to the library on Dec. 4th!
