Santa Claus came to town, and so did lots of visitors and shoppers for WinterWalk in downtown Loveland! The fun, family-friendly holiday event warmed up downtown on Saturday December 4th from 10am to 4pm.
Local merchants and restaurants offered holiday refreshments, festive decorations and Christmas shopping galore for downtown visitors to enjoy. Kitchen Alley says they have their best day of the year during WinterWalk!
Activities included:
- Kids getting their pictures taken with Santa at Mandolin Cafe
- Mrs. Santa Claus telling Christmas stories at Anthology Book Company and people enjoying hot chocolate at Coffee Tree
- Ice sculpture carving by artists in the pocket park at Lincoln and 4th
- "Up in Lights" dance troupe performed in the pocket park
The Friends of the Loveland Public Library also hosted "Loveland Lights," a multi-cultural celebration of the holidays at the library. Their gingerbread house display was wonderful!
