Help our public library by being part of their annual book sale event! Volunteering is a great contribution toward one of Loveland's valuable resources: your library. Those with muscle for carrying books and/or a command of the alphabet (for sorting books by author) are encouraged to volunteer during the set-up phase of a spring used-book sale, sponsored by the Friends of the Loveland Public Library. They have been members and supporters of the Downtown Loveland Association since the inception of our organization. The Friends of the Loveland Public Library need your help Wednesday through Friday, April 27-29th, from about 10:00 in the morning until mid-afternoon. The set-up and sale will be held in the Thomas M. McKee 4-H building at The Ranch, with plenty of parking for volunteers on the south side of the building. If you'd like to help with this event, please contact Barb Franke, volunteer coordinator, at 970-203-0904.
The Friends of the Loveland Public Library is an organization committed to helping our public library reach its $2 million goal for renovation, which includes new technical innovations and state-of-the-art components in structure, operations, and service. For that reason, a portion of the proceeds from the book sale will go directly toward renovation building and equipment costs.
