Downtown Cleanup Day Comes Clean

| Print | PDF
Despite the weather, the DLA Downtown Clean Up Day proceeded as re-scheduled on Saturday April 25. Design Committee members who participated were Larry Gillam, DJ Browne, Bill Cassells. There were some "hearty souls" from the community who showed up to help. The clean up efforts were focused on the area around the railroad tracks since the City of Loveland had cleaned the streets with the street sweepers the previous week.

Many thanks to the City for the street cleaning, the trash bags and the safety vests. And a great big thanks to the Design Committee members who set up the event and community members who participated.

The Design Committee will meet next on Thursday, May 7 at 7:30 am at the Coffee Tree in Anthology Books for a walkabout meeting to choose locations for the historic photos and discuss summer projects. Anyone is welcome to join us.

For information on the Design Committee please call Cheryl Parker at 970.988.3121
