Been reading about the Rialto "Bridge" Project in the Reporter-Herald? Troy Peterson of Flagstone Partners explained the exciting things being considered for use of the space adjacent to the Rialto if the former Monaco Ristorante and the shoe store are razed. These might include a large "picture window" glass front to the adjacent building, displaying light and movement and excitement as people move about inside, lots of space for the performers and a "green" room, and space for a new restaurant, possibly serving everything from appetizers and tapas to dinner and fine wine to coffee and dessert! The bridge project would make the Rialto Theater's dreams for space come true and add a lot of cachet to our downtown.
