Night on the Town tradition began in June 2005 and is held on the 2nd Friday of each month. This signature event is more than just an art walk — come downtown as our art galleries hold opening receptions, restaurants and bars feature seasonal food and drink specials, retail shops stay open late with sales and discount promotions and craft breweries host new beer releases.

When the weather warms up and the days get longer, our streets come alive! 
During the months of May through September, you’ll find live arts and entertainment on street corners and in front of businesses.  From chalk artists and painters to local musicians, there is something for everyone to enjoy and an exciting energy in the air.

Join us for our first programmed Night on the Town of the season in Downtown Loveland.

Enjoy an evening full of art, music, shopping, and a special glimpse into our Downtown Loveland’s history — all while celebrating this month’s theme: Spring Fling!

FREE Downtown Historic Tour:

  • Meet at Loveland Aleworks at 6 PM for a free walking tour led by Teri Johnson of the Loveland Historical Society.

  • Stroll through Downtown Loveland and uncover the fascinating stories that shaped our community.

Live Music Throughout Downtown:

  • Conor Stek – Saxophone performance in front of the Rialto Theater

  • Ryan Millard – Performing between Vatos Tacos and Colorado Coffee

  • Violet Wild – Playing live in front of the Loveland Museum

  • Jim Green – Acoustic sounds in front of Josh & John’s Ice Cream

Artists Bringing the Streets to Life:

  • Lindsey Walker – Live art at Thompson Park (Pocket Park)

  • Deb Dohrman – Live art in the Foundry Plaza

  • Melissa Robinson – Chalk art in front of the Loveland Museum

  • Shawn Campbell – Chalk art in front of Aims Community College Downtown Center

Plus:

  • Retailers will be decorating their storefronts in full Spring Fling style!

  • Bars and restaurants will be featuring special food and drink highlights inspired by the Spring.

Come downtown, grab a drink, catch some live music, watch live artists create, and shop local on Friday, May 9th in Downtown Loveland.
